Become a member of the Parent Advisory Board or Teacher Advisory Board and help us advance our mission of activating kids' imaginations and sparking conversation through immersive storytelling. With your support, we will continue to inspire listeners to wonder, laugh, learn, participate, and think critically and creatively in a safe place made just for them.
The role of both the Parent and Teacher Advisory Boards is to provide us with constructive input and feedback so that we can better serve our listeners, whether at home or in the classroom.
Who we’re looking for:
If you are a Pinna user, or interested in becoming a subscriber, and if you’re eager to try new things and share your opinions - we want to hear from you!
Members of the PAB and TAB should have the following qualifications:
- Parent Advisory Board
Have kid(s) in the household between 3-12 years of age
Access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer/laptop
Are comfortable sharing feedback
Open to listening or reviewing things in progress
Willing to post about Pinna on social media
Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement upon selection
Available to actively participate in the Advisory Board (as outlined below)
- Teacher Advisory Board
1st-6th grade teacher or homeschooler
Access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer/laptop
Are comfortable sharing feedback
Passion for teaching with curiosity to evolve or enhance current methods
Open to listening or reviewing things in progress
Willing to post about Pinna on social media
Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement upon selection
Available to actively participate in the Advisory Board (as outlined below)

Requirements and expectations
Between home and work, we’re all busy and the last thing we want to do is add another thing on your plate, so we’re structuring this program to be as easy as possible!
The program is based on 12-month terms that are evaluated annually, which does require you to maintain at least some level of participation. While we do require you to fill out a short application - mainly to confirm qualifications as outlined above - you are in no way obligated to join if selected. In terms of “active participation,” we are encouraging each member to participate in at least 75% of the activities, but do understand that interest and availability may change throughout the term.
Key dates:
February - April 2023: application window
May 2023: Members selected and notified
May 2023 - April 2024: Advisory board member “term”
Time commitment:
There are no in-person meetings and all “activities” that we may want input on will be done remotely and, for the most part, on your own timeline
We’re anticipating needing about 1 hour of your time per month depending on what projects we have
Note that all participation is voluntary and as mentioned above, to be an “active member” we only expect you to participate in 75% of the activities
Participation opportunities:

Be an ambassador for Pinna amongst friends and colleagues
